The Tabernacle has always been an important community resource since it was built as a church in 1888. In more recent years many diverse activities from a broad spectrum of cultures have taken place there, with the local community continuing to play a central role. The Multi-Cultural History Week is a welcome opportunity for the Tabernacle to acknowledge and appreciate the past, celebrate the present and look forward to the future.
